Your Appointment Time

  • All mobile appointments allow a 1-hour arrival window for the groomer.
  • Spa appointments should arrive at given appointment time, unless asked if they can arrive earlier/later. We do not crate dogs at our spas, so we are unable to hold your pet if you arrive early and we are not ready for it. Pick up of dogs after completion of service is expected to be done in a timely manner.
  • If we are running behind/early, we will call or text you as soon as possible.

Our Cancellation policy

  • We require 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment in non-emergency situations.
  • Failure to call/text 24 hours in advance may result in a $99 cancellation fee per pet on the appointment, this must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment.
  • If we arrive for an appointment and there is no one home within 15 minutes of groomer arrival to release the pet(s), the cancellation fee will also apply.

Giving advance notice affords us the opportunity to fill your grooming appointment and enables us to rearrange our schedule. Our automated system will send a reminder to you of your appointment 72 hours in advance.

Cancellations and reschedules must be made over the phone. We cannot take cancellations or reschedules through social media or email.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call or text us at (530) 558-0642.

Matted Pets

  • Excessive de-matting can be painful, dangerous, time consuming, and in moderate to extreme cases impossible.
  • Pets with matted coats require extra attention and handling during their appointment, even when the solution is to shave the pet.
  • Matting left in the pet’s coat will only grow tighter and larger and can cause secondary skin infections, rashes, and loss of proper circulation to body parts.
  • We will make every effort to keep your pet as stress-free as possible during the de-matting process if your pet and the matting are a candidate for de-matting.
  • In cases of severe matting, your pet may very well need to be shaved or we may refer you to a vet.

We will require that you have your pet on a regular grooming schedule to prevent future matting if you would like to continue our services.

Double Coated Breeds

It is our policy not to shave double coated breeds. It is becoming well known within the animal medical community and experienced grooming salons that the shaving of double coated breeds can lead to hair follicle damage and a myriad of skin and coat issues.

It is a myth that shaving your pet short keeps them cooler in the summer. Without their outer coat, they can not regulate their body temperature and are more susceptible to heat stroke and sunburn. When it is hot out, we are all hot.

We will not cut the base coat short or shave down a double coated breed unless it is for a medical reason (we will require a note from a veterinarian) or the coat is heavily matted, and even then, we might suggest your pet be groomed by a veterinarian.

However, we would be happy to get your pet on a shed-less schedule of 4-6 weeks to reduce the shedding or to contour scissor the hair to neaten the coat.

Examples of common double coated breeds we do not shave include but are not limited to:

Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, Chow Chow, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, Alaskan Malamute, Husky, German Shepherd Dog, Labrador, Pug, Corgi, Chihuahua.

If your pet requires a shave down due to matting, a waiver will be required to be signed by the owner.

Fleas

  • If fleas or ticks are found on your pet, we will give your dog our all natural, eucalyptus and mint flea shampoo & conditioner at an additional fee of $10.

Our mint package is only to treat fleas or ticks currently on the pet, it is NOT a preventative and DOES NOT prevent fleas or ticks from jumping back onto your pet.

Please note that fleas and ticks are a health hazard to your pets as well as to humans. If your pet has fleas or ticks, we highly suggest you have your home, your pets bedding, and your yard treated.

Dry Skin

  • If your dog has dry skin, and flakes or rash are seen, we will use a 3 step medicated package to help get the moisture back into your dog’s skin, at an additional charge of $10.
  • This service works best for your pet when they are on a regular schedule of 3-5 weeks that aligns with their skin cycle.

Payment

Payment is due at time of service.

We may require a credit card on file in order to accept mobile payments.

  • We accept cash, card, check, and Zelle.

  • There is a fee associated with using any form of card payment.
  • There will be a $20 Check return fee for bounced checks.

Our groomers reserve the right to stop the service at any time at their own discretion if in the best interest of the pet and the groomer. You will be charged for the work that was done in that time, or the $115 minimum house call fee, whichever is greater.
